Image 4 Recreation
I know that the background and the subject are separately lit. For the yellow light to be that vibrant, it has to be close to the background (maybe with some narrowing light modifier?). I think there was a soft box involved here, because of how soft her features look. It seems like there are 3 different colored gels, and they may be from separate lights. The red light seems to be close to the subject's face, and the blue is acting more like a main light because its softer. I'm not sure quite how the motion is achieved.

{ ISO: 100 } { Aperture: f / 5.6 } { Shutter: 1/160 }
2. Make a portrait where the person’s face is over exposed? and the background is normally exposed. Drop the power of the strobe by one stop keeping the f stop the same.
{ ISO: 200 } { Aperture: f / 5.6 } { Shutter: 1/60 }
3. Make a portrait where the person’s face is normally exposed and the background is one stop under.
{ ISO: 200 } { Aperture: f / 5.6 } { Shutter: 1/200 }

Assignment 3: One Light
KIND
The yellow gel is an example of diffuse transmission. The light striking the gold reflector, bounces of and created a highlight on Macey's face. This is an example of (diffuse?) reflection.
CRUEL
This photo is an example of the Inverse Square Law, because the single light source is close to Macey's face, and reflection from a surface gets brighter if we move the light closer.
